Jourdan and Holt

For this wedding set in gorgeous Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the celebration’s details reflected the elegance of their destination. Jourdan and Holt of Abilene, Texas, gathered with their guests at Snake River Ranch, a breath-taking property just south of Grand Teton National Park and adjacent to Teton Village. When they were dating, Holt surprised Jourdan by meeting her in Jackson Hole during a cross-country bicycling adventure she had embarked upon. Ever since, the location has been a special place for the pair and seemed like the only right destination for their summer wedding.

Jourdan and Holt’s invitation suite set the tone for the celebration by incorporating design motifs based on Wyoming’s landscape and wildlife, including a moose, evergreen trees, and huckleberries. Designs inspired by the beautiful maroon huckleberries were utilized throughout many of the celebration’s aspects, such as the custom escort card wall and reception menus. The escort card wall featured hand-painted berries on panels constructed into shelves, where our team set huckleberry cocktails and marked the glasses with guests’ table assignments. What a way to start the party!

The ceremony, set in a pristine field surrounded by the Teton Mountains, featured bridesmaids in light blue and low floral installations framing the aisle and altar. For the tented reception, our team hand-painted the stage backdrop with soft white flowers on teal and built matching foreground installations on-site. As the finishing touch, we hand-laid vinyl of the couple’s custom monogram in white on the dance floor. White and pink roses descended gracefully down the couple’s multi-layered white cake, and a darling candy bar featured the couple’s favorite treats in colors that matched the overall color story.

With customized details galore, Jourdon and Holt’s wedding overflowed with beauty, a true reflection of their overflowing love for one another. Guests are sure to fondly remember this wedding weekend for many years to come!
